Post Date:03/14/2017

The Parks and Leisure Services Department would like to cordially invite you to our 3rd Annual Family Safety Day Event on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 from 12 noon to 5pm at the Lauderhill Aquatic Center at John Mullin Park, 2000 N.W. 55th Avenue, Lauderhill, FL 33313.

The City of Lauderhill’s Police Department, Fire Department and Parks and Leisure Services Department are partnering together to provide a one day fun event for the entire family. The event will promote our Watch Out Now Program that the City is initiating to prevent accidental deaths and injury to children under the ages of 4 due to drowning, sleep accidents, and car accidents.  The day will provide a bunch of interactive activities for the entire family, raffle give-a-ways, and many educational activities designed to educate families on water safety, car safety, and crib safety.

Free food and free open swimming, music by HOT 105 and www.yopodner.com DJ Big Man Kelly, free swim lessons, free CPR Instruction, Dive and Rescue Demonstration, community vendors, a giant water slide, and face painting are all part of the planned activities. Don’t miss out!

Please contact Candice Healy at 954-486-8450 for more information.
