Lobbyist Registration Overview

The City of Lauderhill has implemented a comprehensive system of monitoring lobbyists' activities and expenditures.  The City Code requires lobbyist to register annually, each fiscal year with the City Clerk's Office to identify the principal for whom he or she lobbies.  Lobbyists are also required to file annual expense reports.  Lobbyists and elected officials alike are required to report their meetings and the subject matter.  Additionally, the City of Lauderhill prohibits lobbying activites in connection with the City's procurement process.
