Final renderingPerforming Arts Center and Library  This is a 1200 seat, 47,585 square foot facility that will house a performing arts theater and a new Broward County Public Library.  It will include a large multi-purpose room, a multi-functional lobby, and front-of-house amenities such as a concessions stand, exterior roof terrace, and outdoor plaza. This will be a LEED Silver certified building and it's anticipated completion date is January 2016.

50th St culvert 1-13-14 (16)50th Street culvert replacement  - The City of Lauderhill is committed to having clean culverts and waterways. This will reduce or eliminate potential flooding when there are significant rain events. In addition, the City will have the ability to use the vendor to make changes quickly if required by the County or EPA.

  

Inverrary Blvd Resurfacing 026Inverrary Boulevard Resurfacing - Resurfacing of Inverrary Blvd and limited swale reconstruction to improve surface water runoff.    The City of Lauderhill is committed to having smooth, well marked and safe roadways.  This is part of an ongoing effort to repave roadways.        

  

PromenadePromenade - In 2008, the City of Lauderhill was awarded a Federal Earmark Appropriation in the amount of $678,405.  The funds are to be used to enhance the pedestrian connectivity between State Road 7 and the Perform Arts Center & Library through a Promenade Project.

 

NW 55 Avenue55th Avenue Resurfacing & Drainage - The City of Lauderhill is committed to having smooth, well marked and safe roadways.  The residents of Central Lauderhill have been requesting improvement of NW 55 Avenue for several years.  This is an ongoing effort by the City to repave roadways.  Additional drainage improvements will be implemented as well..

 

NW 56 Avenue Striping56th Avenue Striping - This project restripes 56th Avenue because the existing striping is faded and cannot be seen properly in rainy weather or at night. This will improve the overall aesthetics, reduce or eliminate resident complaints, and reduce litigation resulting from damaged vehicles due to unsafe roadway condition.

                                        

Ilene Lieberman Park 001Ilene Lieberman Park Modifications - The City of Lauderhill prides itself on having well attended performances at Ilene Lieberman Park and would like to accommodate residents with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Renovation will be for the seating area and landscaping.  Beautiful shrubbery and comfortable seating for live performances will also improve attendance.

 

FS 110 7-17-14 (4)Fire Station 110 - New Fire Station to be built at NW 31st Ave and 12th St to better serve East Lauderhill. This project is currently under construction

 

 

 

31st Ave Passive Park 11-12-14 (4)31st Avenue Park - Passive park is being built with a walking path, landscaping and limited parking. This project is currently under construction
