Track & Field Program
As competitive sport, Track & Field Program began for children in the City of Lauderhill in 2000. The season begins in February and ends in July.

Practices will be held at Piper High School. This program is for children ages 5 – 16.

Adult Softball League

The league is open to men ages 18 and older. The league will begin in mid-October and games will be play at Lauderhill Sports Park and West Wind Park. The entry fee is $350.00 per team. City of Lauderhill joins USTA

The City of Lauderhill Kids Corner Club (Sadkin, St. George, and West Ken Lark Parks) after school program will offer for the first time a tennis program.  We have approximately 70 children age 5-11 years of age that would participate in the tennis program.  The program will began on September 6^th , 2007 and runs 3 consecutive 6 weeks period at each of the three parks.  The grant which USTA is providing will cover the cost of equipment, instructors and trophies. 

The City of Lauderhill has been an organizational member with USTA for two years.  Special thanks to Cheryl Rivera of USTA for the support and resources she provided in implementing this effort between USTA and the City of Lauderhill.  We could not have provided this program had it not been for USTA.  The Kids Corner staff and the children are excited and looking forward to this wonderful opportunity to enter the world of tennis.

Youth Flag Football

• Registration at Sadkin Community Center 1176 NW 42^nd Way

• Cost - $30.00 per child. Price included 1 shirt and 1 short.

• Age – 5 years old to 15 years old. Girls are welcome! Children 4 years old that turn 5 during the            season (March thru June) are eligible. 15 years old are only eligible if they do not the entire 2007 year season.

• Required – a copy of the child’s insurance.

Football

• The Lauderhill “Lions” Football & Cheerleading League is looking for boys, girls, coaches, team moms/dads, and sponsors.

• Football program is for boys; ages 5 to 15 years old

• Cheerleading program is for girls; ages 6 to 15 years old

• Registration Fee – March to April - $85.00 no specials
                                May to August - $100.00

If registering 3 or more siblings, the price is as following:
1st & 2nd - $100.00 each
3 or more - $90.00 each

Included in registration is a $25.00 fundraising fee that will cover short set and bag.
