FREE Paint Program
Qualification:
MUST be a City of Lauderhill homeowner. Proof of home ownership will be
required, such as a mortgage statement or deed. Not for
commercial property use.
Type/colors:
Exterior semi-gloss in beige, gray, off-white, turquoise, and
terracotta. The two/bright. Colors,
turquoise and terracotta, may only be used as trim.
Steps in obtaining
FREE paint:

Complete the Paint
Review Form in the Building Department, Corporate Park, 3800
Inverrary Blvd., Room 107, 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday thru Friday.

The Paint Review
Form is sent to the Fire Chief for his approval of color choices
made.

Approved form is
mailed to applicant.

On receipt of
form, Rita Allen, paint contact person, should be contracted at
(954) 572-1471. A copy of the approved form should be brought to
West Wind Park, 4550 N.W. 82nd Ave. or faxed to her (954)
572-1472.

If paint is
available, applicant will be able to pick up paint within 2 – 3
days. If paint is not in stock, applicant will be contacted as soon
as paint is available.

General Information
and Referral
The Community Services Division provides to telephone as well as
walk-in residents information to County, State, and Local services
provider agencies and organization. Also, we assist to write
inter-agency referrals for financial assistance, health, housing and
childcare/adult daycare.

FREE friendly call program
St. George, West Ken Lark and Broward Estate Seniors
PALS has a free
telephone reassurance program that would like to make sure that YOU
ARE OK. This Monday thru Friday daily call service is available to
call any alone senior or disabled Lauderhill resident that would like the
comfort and peace of mind that someone will be checking to make sure all
is well and if there
is no answer, help will be dispatched to your home.

Emergency Food
Pantry
This is a “free” non-perishable supplemental food assistance
program. Housed at the Sadkin Community Center for Lauderhill residents,
that are unable to meet their families; meal needs due to lost of
income, illness or other family emergency. Residents can access the
pantry 3 times annually with two (2) proofs of residency (1 MUST
be a picture ID), by appointment.
Residential Home
Visit
A case worker conducts home visit after receiving referrals for
assistance from the Fire Department, Police Department, homeowners
associations, churches, concern citizens, school, and self-referrals.
Needs Assessment
A case worker determines the most appropriate assistance based on
resident’s situation and ability. The service providers are then
contacted and services are then set-up to meet the individual’s needs.
Emergency/Disaster
Call Services
A senior or disabled residents that live alone who have
pre-registered for this well check program will receive a phone call
and/or visit in the event of a community disaster such as hurricane.
Form Completion
Assistance
A case worker will provide assistance to Lauderhill residents
requesting assistance to complete forms and applications, such as food
stamps, social security benefit, and insurance.
Meals on Wheels
This program provides intake for home delivery of prepared meals to
seniors or disable residents.
Holiday Baskets
This program provides Thanksgiving and Christmas food basket to
needy households in the community that have been referred from serviced
based school’s, agencies, and faith organizations. Also it provides toys
for children in each family age 0-12 years old as a part of Christmas
basket.
Senior Center
Members Emergency Information
The goal is to maintain emergency forms completed by each member in
case of a medical emergency.
Permits
It’s providing department facility use permit for residential and
no-residential rentals of centers and pavilions. |
