On November 2, 2004,
Lauderhill residents came together to give our City a greener,
cleaner, safer future by voting “yes” on the Great
Neighborhoods Bond! The $35 million General Obligation Bond will
fund a variety of community improvements for everyone in every
neighborhood to enjoy.
The low interest bond
is helping the City of Lauderhill significantly update our
infrastructure, beautify our city, and provide better service and
recreational opportunities for you -- community by community and
neighborhood by neighborhood. The capital improvement projects touch
on vital aspects of what makes Lauderhill an exceptional place to
live, including:
-
Park
Improvements
-
Health
and Safety Enhancements
-
Entryways, Greenways and Open Spaces
-
Pedestrian-Friendly Development
Passage of the Great
Neighborhoods Bond was a major step forward in shaping our city’s
future and keeping our community a special place to live, work and
play.
The rewards are many
and the results will be seen in your neighborhood and throughout the
City for decades to come. But why wait? Check out what great things
are in the works in Lauderhill through the Great Neighborhoods Bond,
