The City of Lauderhill
received $595,200 in federal stimulus funds through the ARRA
Energy Block Grant. Funds were made available for the
Interest Free Energy Appliance Loans, give away of 10,000
free CFL bulbs, LED lighting for Jenkins Park and funding to
qualify for LEED Gold Performing Arts Center/Library. |

available initially only to Commercial Properties (with the
expectation to expand to residential properties in the
future) to improve energy efficiencies. Private lenders will
provide funding. Also, creating a Performance Contract Loan
Program for both Residential and Commercial Properties to
provide funding for energy improvements. (both coming soon). |

Performing Arts Center/Library in the SE United States
utilizing Federal Energy Block Grants. Completion expected
in 2012.
