Lauderhill Commissioner Howard Berger Hosts the 3rd Annual Women's History Month Event to Honor 12 Lauderhill Women
In partnership with the Lauderhill Fire Department, Red Cross volunteers will be sharing fire safety tips and installing smoke detectors in the Broward Estates area on 4/1/17.
A team of assessors from the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA) will arrive April 11th, 2017 to examine all aspects of the Lauderhill Police Department’s policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services. The assessors will remain on site until April 13, 2017 completing an extensive review of the accreditation files for the Lauderhill Police Department.

The Lauderhill Police Department will host a Spring Break Bootcamp for children ages 10-17. Parents must attend orientation and bring their child in for an assessment prior to the camp. Space is limited! Get registered today.

Members of the Lauderhill Police Department were contacted earlier this week by Ms. Pearl Soloman who is a resident of Lauderhill. Ms. Soloman explained she was just awarded custody of her four grandchildren (ages ranging from 6-11 years old) and was asking if there were any programs in the police department where she could receive donated bikes so her grandchildren could have bikes to ride to play with the other neighborhood children.
The City of Lauderhill’s Police Department, Fire Department and Parks and Leisure Services Department are partnering together to provide a one day fun event for the entire family. The event will promote our Watch Out Now Program that the City is initiating to prevent accidental deaths and injury to children under the ages of 4 due to drowning, sleep accidents, and car accidents. The day will provide a bunch of interactive activities for the entire family, raffle give-a-ways, and many educational activities designed to educate families on water safety, car safety, and crib safety.
