Lauderhill Commissioner Howard Berger Hosts the 3rd Annual Women's History Month Event to Honor 12 Lauderhill Women
Lauderhill, FL - Lauderhill Commissioner Howard Berger is holding his 3rd Annual Women’s History Month Tribute Dinner, honoring 12 women whose passion is to serve the community in which they reside – the City of Lauderhill.
“It is my honor and privilege to have initiated this event three years ago. Women are often not given the true recognition they deserve as the leaders they truly are in our community. This Tribute, held during Women’s History Month, pays homage to the women who have shaped every aspect of our great City. Women have been and continue to be the most influential leaders in the City of Lauderhill,” explains Women’s Tribute Founder and City Commissioner Howard Berger. He continues, “We should always be reminded of their strengths, talents, and their determination to see others uplifted and enriched.”
Honorees include: Cynthia Borders, Monica Branker, Vickie Frazier-Williams, Michelle Josephs, Coxana (Connie) Moss, Dorothy M. Nelson, Lyn Peugeot, Philomene Philostin, Georgia D.N. Robinson, Barbara Stuart, Dr. Jessika Timmons, and Jackie Vernon-Thompson.
The Women’s Tribute Dinner is an invitation only event for each of the 12 Women of Distinction and their guests on March 29 at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center at 5 pm.
