The Torpedoes youth swim team program caters to children 5 years old and up who are interested in learning and competing in the sport of swimming. They practice at the
Veterans Park Pool and The Lauderhill Aquatic Center at John Mullin Park.
This program focuses on academics and athletics while competing against local and regional competition. All participants must maintain good grades and positive behavior in the classroom and in the pool. Participants who do well in the classroom and in the pool are eligible for scholarships through the City of Lauderhill's Sports Advancing Kids Education program.

National Fire Safety Initiative
In partnership with the Lauderhill Fire Department, Red Cross volunteers will be sharing fire safety tips and installing smoke detectors in the Broward Estates area on 4/1/17.
Lauderhill Police Re-accreditation *Excelsior Level*
A team of assessors from the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA)
will arrive April 11th, 2017 to examine all aspects of the Lauderhill Police Department’s policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services. The assessors will remain on site until April 13, 2017 completing an extensive review of the accreditation files for the Lauderhill Police Department.
2017 Lauderhill PD ROK Spring Break Bootcamp
