The Youth Excel program in the City of Lauderhill was crafted to pave a pathway to the exciting world of STEM industries and careers for students residing in the city. This program offers an opportunity for students contemplating future careers in healthcare, computers, engineering, aviation, web development, robotics, marine sciences, and beyond.

Lauderhill Youth Excel STEM Saturdays

Powered by the National League of Cities and the City of Lauderhill 

The Youth Excel STEM Saturdays program offers many opportunities for  Lauderhill students ages 8 – 18 contemplating future careers in healthcare, computers, engineering, aviation, web development, robotics, marine science, and more. These students will get the chance to engage in core STEM workshops, take educational field trips, and gain knowledge from career-oriented specialists.

Lauderhill Youth Excel STEM Summit

Powered by the National League of Cities and the City of Lauderhill 

The Lauderhill Youth Excel STEM Summit is an event designed to give students at Lauderhill 6–12 STEM-MED Magnet School an opportunity to learn how to attain a STEM career through interactive experiences with organizations and colleges experienced in the world of STEM. This summit aims to inspire and empower students to pursue their interests in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by providing them with hands-on learning experiences and exposure to real-world applications of STEM fields.
