Welcome to the City of Lauderhill's Utilities Department. The Utilities Department consists of the following service areas: the Water Treatment Plant, Water Distribution system, and Waste Water Collection Operations and Maintenance system. The Utilities Department is responsible for overseeing the operations, maintenance, and repair of the utilities infrastructure throughout the City of Lauderhill. The infrastructure consist of all components related to water distribution, wastewater collection, and the water treatment plant, which provides safe and adequate domestic water to the residents of Lauderhill. Currently, the Utilities Department treats and distributes on average 6.6 million gallons of potable water per day; maintains approximately 100 miles of water distribution and wastewater collection pipes. In addition, Utilities is charged with providing a clean and healthy environment through the effective management of wastewater system for the residents of Lauderhill.
The Utilities Department is dedicated to providing the most responsive and cost-effective services to the residents of the city. These services are performed by the following divisions:
