The City of Lauderhill features 3 Aquatic facilities, including 6 pools and a "funbrella" splash pad. The facilities at Veterans and Wolk Park include diving boards and separate heated teaching pools. All 3 facilities also feature 25-meter heated lap pools. The sites run programming to include swim lessons, swim team, water aerobics, lifeguard training, and open swimming.

Open swim is available to residents at $1/child (1-17 years old) or $2/adult (18+) for the entire day. Non-residents pay $3/child (1-17 years old) and $4/adult (18+) for the entire day. The hours of operation for each pool varies throughout the year. Please refer to the Event Calendar for dates, times, and availability.


Pool Rules

Pool rules include (but are not limited to):

  • Proper swimwear or swimsuits are required.
  • Any non-swimmer or young child must be within arm's reach of an adult (18+ years old) while in the pool.
  • All pool users must adhere to any lifeguard warnings or instructions.
  • No horseplay or foul language are permitted.
  • Only Coast Guard approved flotation devices are allowed in the pools.
  • Pools will be closed at the discretion of our lightning prediction system or the lifeguards in the case of poor weather conditions.

The Children’s Services Council of Broward County has partnered with Broward County’s SWIM Central program to provide a coupon with a value of $40 off one swimming session to help offset the cost of swimming instruction for children and their families at participating aquatics facilities across Broward County.
