The Finance Department is responsible for the financial management and planning of the City. This includes establishing and maintaining effective controls of the City's financial activities and providing accurate financial information to outside auditors and local, state and federal agencies. The Finance Department is also responsible for coordinating the annual budget and monitoring compliance after adoption.
Finance has direct responsibility for City payroll, accounts receivable and payable, utility billing administration, investments, fixed asset management, debt management and customer services for utilities.
