The Department of Public Relations and Cultural Affairs (PRCA) produces public information on behalf of the City Commission and Administration for the residents of Lauderhill. We communicate through the City’s website, email blasts, social media, flyers and various outlets that help residents stay informed and up-to date on what is going on in our City. The Department actively posts important information, highlighted stories and upcoming events with the goal of reaching as many residents as possible. PRCA also addresses inquiries submitted on the City’s website assisting businesses owners, residents, and future guests.

The PRCA Department includes the Special Events Team which brings exciting cultural events to the City that highlights, reflects, and celebrates Lauderhill’s multiculturalism. It is said 52 languages are spoken in the City. Along with the graphics team, we plan, promote, and execute all City-wide events and coordinate many of the Commission’s signature events.

The Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC) is also overseen by Administration and the Department of Public Relations and Cultural Affairs. We bring culture and the arts to the City and surrounding communities through the use of our newly opened 1100+ seat proscenium theatre.

The Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Department is proud to showcase all that Lauderhill has to offer. Those of us who live and do business here know what great parks, fantastic food, and array of cultural activities we have to offer. If you don’t consider Lauderhill your hometown, we invite you to spend some time with us. Consider taking another look, and we hope you will consider us for your future home or business.
