Any person seeking to qualify for election to a municipal office and is unable to pay the State Assessment without imposing an undue burden on personal resources or on resources otherwise available, an Affidavit of Financial Hardship Form given under oath may be filed with filing officer, which will exempt candidate from paying fee (s.99.093(2), (F.S).

There is no exemption provided in the Code of Ordinances to waive the City of Lauderhill filing fee.
