Mission
The mission of the Office of Management and Budget is:
- to provide budgetary development, review, monitoring, financial analysis and analytical services to the City Commission, Administration and Departments
- to ensure compliance with State mandated budgetary guidelines, the City's Charter, administrative policies, and industry best practices.
- to provide clear and concise public information regarding the City's fiscal condition.
Overview
The specific functions of the Office of Management and Budget include preparation and administration of the Annual Operating Budget and Five-Year Capital Improvement Program. Further studies and analysis are done to determine factors that will have fiscal impacts on the operation and management of the City.
