Purchasing Mission

To provide excellent quality goods and services to Staff, Departments and the Residents of the City of Lauderhill through the use of technology and improved procedures while exercising professionalism and ethics. This mission must be carried out in a manner consistent with State of Florida Statues, the City’s Charter and Procurement Code.

What we do?

We strive to coordinate the purchase of commodities and services required by the City. To fulfill this responsibility, Purchasing works with City Departments to develop bid packages, requests for qualifications, requests for proposals, and quotation requests. The Purchasing Division also maintains vendor information, reviews and evaluates all solicitations received.

Purchasing Goals

The goal of the Purchasing Division is to interact with responsible vendors whose sole purpose is to supply the City of Lauderhill with the highest quality of product and service, while being cost efficient.
