The US Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance, has announced that the Lauderhill Police Department is eligible to receive a total award amount of $47,499.00 in the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program FY 2024 Local Solicitation. It is proposed to use these funds to purchase a ballistic trailer for in house testing of firearms to assist the department’s efforts to increase its efficiency and strengthen its partnership with its residents.
