Program Description
The City of Lauderhill Business Concierge program is a dedicated point of contact for business owners and developers designed to facilitate the COU and building permit process. The Economic Development business concierge acts as a guide throughout the business development process by providing tracking and feedback specific to pending permits and COU applications, thereby eliminating the need for applicants to track down points of contact or comments from the various disciplines tasked with reviewing applications of this nature.

To streamline the business development review process for applicants by providing a single point of contact who can provide status updates on applications and guidance throughout the approval process.

This program is for business owners (existing and prospective) and developers.

Program Benefits
The benefit of the program is a streamlined application process with a single point of contact for status updates. Additionally, the Business Concierge provides information and access to City resources such as referrals for management, marketing, financial, and employment training. In addition to these resources, the Business concierge assists in the coordination of site location consultations for existing, new and expanding businesses.

Program Services

• Consultation regarding your business needs and an overview of the business development process.
• Guidance throughout the approval process, requirements for obtaining a business license, zoning approvals and building permits.
• Serves as an applicant’s “business facilitator” within all City departments.
• Service as a liaison to resolve concerns in the development process to keep the project on schedule.
• Site location consultations for existing, new and expanding businesses.

No Application Necessary
