Lauderhill Inclusive Entrepreneurship Program

Program Description
The Lauderhill Inclusive Entrepreneurship Program is an 10 week in-person class seeking to bring formerly incarcerated Lauderhill residents into the formal economy and provide them with the resources that they need to start or grow their business in the City of Lauderhill. Local business leaders and City Officials will be your instructors and live weekly Question & Answer sessions will be available to you.

The program includes modules on:

  • Doing Business in Lauderhill – Meet all of your City's Elected officials and see how they plan to help your business level up. Code enforcement officials and Directors will share the do's and don’ts when operating in the City.
  • Laying a Strong Foundation – This module is packed with topics on how to procure capital to grow your business, creating a lean business plan, basics on finance and building business credit.
  • Getting Customers – Marketing, social media and networking are all key elements to gaining exposure to new customers, sharing your product/service, and making the sale.
  • Scaling Your Business – Attaining certifications and acquiring Federal, State, and City contracts is covered in depth in this module taught by government employees who know!
