2025 MLK Old School Music Celebration

In celebration of Super Bowl Sunday the City of Lauderhill and the MLK Taskforce present the SuperSOUL MLK R&B Celebration! Join us for an unforgettable night at the 2025 MLK Old School Music Celebration, a special event featuring Soul, R&B, and Funk. This year’s concert brings together legendary artists to honor the spirit of unity and remembrance through music.

Time: Show starts at 7:30 PM | VIP Reception at 6:30 PM

Performances by:

Jeffrey Osborne – Renowned R&B singer-songwriter celebrated for his smooth vocals and timeless hits like “On the Wings of Love,” “Stay with Me Tonight,” and “You Should Be Mine (The Woo Woo Song).”

Lenny Williams – Legendary soul artist known for his heartfelt ballads, including classics like “Cause I Love You,” “Choosing You,” and “Love Current.”

Surface – Iconic R&B group famous for their melodic hits, including “Happy,” “Shower Me with Your Love,” and “The First Time.”

With Special Guests:

 The Old Skool Gang – Performing nostalgic hits from the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s, joined by the soulful Lenora Jaye.
