The Torpedoes youth swim team program caters to children 5 years old and up who are interested in learning and competing in the sport of swimming. They practice at the Veterans Park Pool and The Lauderhill Aquatic Center at John Mullin Park.

This program focuses on academics and athletics while competing against local and regional competition. All participants must maintain good grades and positive behavior in the classroom and in the pool. Participants who do well in the classroom and in the pool are eligible for scholarships through the City of Lauderhill's Sports Advancing Kids Education Program.
