Swim lessons are available to people of all ages at our aquatic facilities. Group lessons are 30 minutes long. Individuals will learn water safety skills and swimming techniques. Children who successfully complete swim lessons can become candidates to join the Torpedoes Swim Team.

Weekday afternoon lessons are generally available Tuesday through Friday. Morning lessons are available on Saturdays.

Water Smart Broward

The Children’s Services Council of Broward County has partnered with Broward County’s SWIM Central program to provide a coupon with a value of $40 off one swimming session to help offset the cost of swimming instruction for children and their families at participating aquatics facilities across Broward County.

In an effort to promote residents being safe in and around water, the City of Lauderhill accepts the swim coupon. You can view more information on the Water Smart Broward webpage.

Times:

• 4:00pm - Ages 3 – 5 (Beginner)
• 4:30pm - Ages 6 – 11 (Beginner)
• 5:00pm - Ages 6 – 11 (Intermediate)
• 5:30pm - Ages 12 & up (Adult)

Classes run Monday – Thursday.

Classes with two or less students will be combined.

All intermediate students must be swim tested before registering.

Residents: $35 | Non-Residents: $150
