The youth recreation basketball program is open to children ages 7-14 years old. They practice and play their games at the Sadkin Community Center. The City also hosts a travel program (Lions).

This program focuses on academics and athletics while competing against local, regional, and national competition. All participants must maintain good grades and positive behavior in the classroom and on the court. Participants who do well in the classroom and on the court are eligible for scholarships through the City of Lauderhill's Sports Advancing Kids Education program.

The cost for the recreation program is $100 per child (for Lauderhill residents) and $125 per child (for non-Lauderhill residents). There is a sibling discount of $10 off for each sibling registered at the same time.

For more information about the program, please contact the Sadkin Center at 954-321-2450 or Marcellus Green at 954-572-1474. You can also email Marcellus Green.
