Lauderhill Lions Football

The Lions are a youth cheerleading and football program located in the City of Lauderhill. The program is open to children ages 4-13 years old. They practice at Lauderhill 6-12 School Park and play their home games at the Lauderhill Sports Park. The program is a proud member of the American Youth Football League (AYFL).

This program focuses on academics and athletics while competing against local, regional, and national competition. All participants must maintain a GPA of 70% or above. Participants who achieve a GPA of 96% or above are eligible for scholarships through the City of Lauderhill's Sports Advancing Kids Education program.

Registration information is generally available by April/May of each year. The cost is $85 per child (for Lauderhill residents) and $100 per child (for non-Lauderhill residents). Conditioning sessions generally begin in May and official practices begin in July. The season usually lasts until November. Practice dates/times may vary due to scheduling, field availability, and weather. Games are played every Saturday beginning in August. Each team is generally scheduled for 10 regular season games with the possibility of 3 additional playoff games.
