Help Our City Remain Beautiful and Clean
Each year, the City of Lauderhill faces the threat of flooding - due in part to litter in the
Drainage System. Help keep our City beautiful for generations to come. Single use
plastics are a large contributor to the litter around streets, parks, and many end up in our
drainage systems. Less litter and less plastic bottles in the drainage system help our City's
Storm Water Drains work best and minimizes flooding.
When in City Parks/Facilities please Do Not Use Single-Use Plastics such as:
• Disposable Water Bottles
• Styrofoam Boxes
• Plastic straws / Utensils
• Latex Balloons
(May not be released into the air)
Instead, Use Plastic-Free or Reusable
Products & Kindly Do Not Litter!
